Opinions on the name Madison?

If any of you answered my last question, I asked if you loved, liked, or hated the most common American names. One of these names was "Madison"; now I don't have some incredible love for this name but almost everyone said they hated it. I didn't realize so many people disliked this name and was wondering why so many people find it unappealing? Thanks for your answers!
