My head is a mess, what do I do about my relationship?

Would you rather he said it and then had to take it back? He wants to be sure, and if this is really going to last a long time, then six months isn't all that much in the grand scheme of things. Which doesn't make you wrong for saying or feeling it, but if his actions show that he sincerely cares and you think he's worth it, then be patient a little while longer.
