Help!!! i started a new job today, one that before the recession i would have laughed at?

but i kinda like it? i am used to making like 3k+ a week and got laid off and this job pays $7.25 an hour. and worse it is taking out the trash at a manufacturing center. and i like it, this scares me. i should be embarred to do this kind of menial labor but it is not stressful and the people are really nice. at my old job everyone hated each other and we worked like 90+ hours per week. but this is okay and i should not think this. is it bad to settle for such a position when you are capable of so much more.
