So just saturday I think i lost a friendship?

Is this right? I got in a car accident w/ a good friend in the penger seat, and now after the reck hes mad at me. The whole accident wasnt my fault though.I was going down hill in rainy weather and hydroplaned into a drain ditch.No one was seriously hurt just a lil banged up.
