I have a 2month old pekingese/poodle mix .any good traing tips you can let me know about?

when we 1st got him he always woke me up in the middle of the night crying.but now he only wakes me up around 5am when he wants to come off the bed to get something to eat/drink,or when he wants to pee.we had him for about 4days now,he got more playfull and walks around the house more than he used to,and stays awake more than he used to.he goes to the door when he wants to poop and i never trained him to do that.anyway is there any good advice on how to train him on any way that i should know about.or any websites that give good training guides that i dont have to order
