How do you quantify the definition of 'a bad attitude'?

Truth is what is good and bad attitude is base on your personal opinion (i.e some may see me as speaking back to an authority figure as me having a bad attitude and etc. while others may see it as me not being a push over) . Of course society has brainwashed us all into what is good and bad.
